As a Junior at the University of Wisconsin–Stout, I am pursuing a degree in Business Administration with double minors in investments/finance and economics. My academic journey has been enriched by courses in accounting and economics, which have sharpened my problem-solving skills and deepened my understanding of business operations. I currently serve as the financial assistant for the UW-Stout Athletics Department, where I create monthly budget reports for athletic teams by organizing and analyzing revenue, expense, and donation data. This role has honed my ability to manage large data sets and apply tools like Excel to streamline processes and improve clarity. My passion for bookkeeping stems from its pivotal role in helping businesses thrive by managing finances effectively, and I find great satisfaction in knowing my work contributes to their success.
When I'm not studying or working, you'll often find me on the basketball court, where I’ve developed strong teamwork and communication skills as a collegiate athlete. Off the court, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, hanging out with my sassy Shih Tzu, Daisy, or engaging in my favorite mini-reset activities like walking outdoors while listening to podcasts, reading, or trying new recipes. My playlist reflects a mix of artists, including Noah Kahan, Tracy Chapman, Elton John, and Tyler Childers, and I enjoy using creative tools like Canva for personal and academic projects. Whether organizing my schedule or trying a fresh challenge, I approach life with a balance of discipline and creativity.

After more than 20 years as a marketing professional—primarily in the tech sector—I was ready for a new challenge. With a love for spreadsheets and problem-solving, accounting felt like the perfect next step. Now based in Kelowna, BC, I’m in the final semester of my Advanced Diploma in Professional Accounting, working toward my goal of becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant.
Throughout my marketing career, I was always drawn to the numbers behind the strategy. I loved clean data sets, ROI reports, and business plans backed by solid analysis. It wasn’t just about the creative process—it was about real results and helping businesses grow. That same passion drives my work at kCole Bookkeeping, where I get to support hardworking entrepreneurs in building something great. Seeing the dedication and resourcefulness of our clients makes every day rewarding, and I’m thrilled to play a small part in their success.
Outside of work, you’ll likely find me on the water, dragon boating in the summer, or in the kitchen, cooking up a feast for family and friends. Travel has been a huge part of my life—I’ve been to all seven continents and around 40 countries. My career and adventures have taken me across the world, having lived and worked in Australia, the UK, the U.S., and Canada. Wherever I go, I bring that same curiosity and enthusiasm to everything I do—including helping businesses thrive through better bookkeeping.
